This is a special model of the GMW-B5000 series, which is a full metal version of the first generation G-SHOCK DW-5000C. The pattern of the circuit board of the GMW-B5000 module 3459 was drawn with black IP and laser engraving. Laser irradiation before and after coating with black IP. Adopting the titanium alloy “TranTixxii (R)” developed by Nippon Steel, it has the characteristics of titanium that is light and gentle on the skin, but has about twice the hardness of pure titanium, and has a mirror surface comparable to stainless steel. The GMW-B5000 series realizes a full metal case with a shock-resistant structure that sandwiches a fine resin buffer between the metal bezel and the main body case. The size is kept by high-density mounting technology. The back cover uses a heavy-duty screw-back case and is treated with DLC for excellent abrasion resistance. The metal band piece is dimpled, inheriting the resin band design of the first machine. Visibility is also improved using a film solar cell and STN-LCD (liquid crystal). In terms of functionality, it is equipped with a Bluetooth (R) communication function, and can acquire accurate time information by linking with a dedicated application. In addition, it has practicality such as a time correction system with standard radio waves (multiband 6), stable drive with tough solar, high-brightness full-auto LED backlight, world time, and day of the week display in 6 languages.
